Chapter 4

My words clearly had an effect. The bodyguards exchanged glances and stopped.

Tiffany shrieked in exasperation, "What are you afraid of?! What can a stupid live stream do?! Daniel will handle any consequences! Get them!"

However, no one moved.

Tiffany could only call Daniel, putting him on speaker. He picked up almost instantly: "Tiffany? What's wrong? Didn't I tell you not to be childish? I'm busy here."

She cried into the phone, "Daniel! Someone's causing trouble at your bar! They hit me! Come quick!"

Daniel on the other end immediately sounded tense. "What?! Are you hurt? Where are you hurt? Don't be scared, wait for me, I'm coming right now!"

He then hung up abruptly.

A cold dread washed over me.

Just a few minutes ago, Eleanor told him I was bleeding from a bottle smash while protecting her.

And he said, "I can't leave, you two go to the hospital yourselves."

Tiffany hung up, arrogantly commanding the security guards, "Did you hear that? Daniel will be here any second!"

"You! Now, tie these two bitches up immediately!"

"When Daniel gets here, I'll make sure you all know who truly has his ear!"

Eleanor looked at me worriedly, and I gave her a reassuring smile.

Then, I walked up to Tiffany and slapped her hard.

*Smack!*

"You dared to hit me?!" Tiffany shrieked, clutching her face.

She raised her hand, but stopped when she saw the watch.

"You really care about this watch, don't you?"

She dangled the watch, and my heart sank, a premonition of dread rising within me.

She smiled at me, deftly unbuckled the strap, and held the wristwatch high. "You say Daniel loves you? But he gave me your symbol of eternal love!"

"I heard this watch is priceless. Do you think it would still be valuable if it shattered?"

With that, she violently slammed the watch onto the marble floor.

"No!" I screamed, lunging forward.

*Crash!*

With a crisp sound, the sapphire crystal of the watch face instantly shattered, and intricate parts scattered everywhere.

My heart shattered with it.

The live stream viewers were also shocked by her瘋狂act; the comments completely froze for a moment.

"See that? That's how much you mean to him! Worthless!"

Tiffany laughed maniacally, grinding her sharp high heel over the broken watch face.

"Some broken junk, and you cherish it so much?!"

"I'm going to kill you!" I lunged, pinning her to the ground, slapping her repeatedly!

"Ahhh!" Tiffany screamed non-stop.

The security captain behind her finally snapped out of his shock.

"Quick! Pull her off! Tie this crazy woman up!" he yelled at his men.

I was pulled away by the bodyguards.

"Yes! Tie her up! Beat her hard! I want her to spend the rest of her life in bed!"

She yelled at everyone, "When Daniel comes, he'll only take my side! Get her!"
