About the Program
Combining outdoor active recreation with age appropriate educational components. Camp Counselors concentrate on subjects such as environmental education, team building, creative arts, reading and writing. This program not only offers children outdoor play while learning in a safe outdoor environment, but it also provides them the opportunities to meet children from other school districts.
In response to recent health concerns, we have adjusted the Summer Youth Program schedule. We are anticipating that restrictions on groups of our size will be relaxed by July 1. As such, the camp will run Wednesday, July 1 to Friday, August 7. We know this is a disruption to our plans, but we are hopeful that, by pushing the start date back by a few weeks, we can hold camp without too many major changes to the structure of our program. One of the great aspects of our program is that it brings together children from a number of different school districts and communities.
Families who have pre-registered had been notified by email. We understand that this change in schedule may cause some to choose not to participate and will refund the registration fee to pre-registered families, if needed. The early bird deadline will be extended to May 31. We are closely monitoring government restrictions and will adjust that deadline again if necessary.
Early bird registration will continue until May 31 and registration will close June 26. We will also be limiting the maximum number of registered children so we can take precautions needed to make this a safe and enjoyable summer for all.
