Environmental Education
About Sandy's Place:
Established in 2017, Sandy's Place is a Nature Explore certified outdoor learning center. It is open year round to the public and boasts a full-time environmental educator providing classes, leading Sandy's Scouts, and hosting many special events. Sandy's Place provides a venue in which children are encourages to play outside, get dirty and learn about nature and the environment. Although it is open to the public, there may be times in which it is closed for special events or reservations.
