The road from the party venue to the hotel wasn't great, with quite a few bumps.

My stomach was already feeling awful, and after all the jostling, I felt like I was going to be sick.

"Stop the car," Jack Collins suddenly ordered.

Hearing this, the driver immediately pulled over to the side of the road.

The car hadn't even come to a complete stop when I turned to push open the door.

But before I could open it, Jack Collins yanked me back.

"Urgh—"

Caught off guard, I fell into Jack Collins' arms and immediately threw up.

Once I started, I couldn't stop.

I vomited all over Jack Collins' chest.

The confined space of the car was instantly filled with an acrid smell.

Jack Collins' long eyebrows furrowed slightly as he looked down at me with dark eyes, ordering in a low voice, "Keep driving."

"Yes, sir," the driver responded, holding his breath as he pulled back onto the road.

After I finished throwing up, I was so embarrassed I wanted to disappear on the spot.

Thank goodness the car lights weren't on.

I snuck a glance up at Jack Collins.

He had his eyes closed, leaning back against the seat, completely motionless as if asleep.

The streetlights flickered through the windows, dancing across his chiseled, handsome face.

He had a high, straight nose and thin, sexy lips.

His eyebrows were long and sharp like swords, his eyelashes thick and dark like brushes.

Few men had eyelashes as lush as his.

Staring at the face before me, I felt like I had seen it somewhere before.

"I'm so sorry, Mr. Collins! Why don't you drop me off here and head home? I'll transfer you money for cleaning the car and your clothes."

"What, you make a mess of me and don't plan to take responsibility?" Jack Collins spoke, his voice low and unreadable.
