My Wife’s Wedding Confession

Chapter 1

1,121 words

At the wedding ceremony, the officiant asked my wife Oliver to give her marriage vows.

I never expected her to slap herself in front of everyone.

"This slap is for blaming myself for choosing wrong. Three years ago, I listened to my parents and stayed in the country, missing out on my true love!"

I looked at my parents' slightly angry faces and shook my head to stop them.

Unexpectedly, she slapped herself again.

"The second slap is for blaming myself for personally killing my own unborn child!"

My whole body stiffened. I'd been with Oliver for three years, and we'd never had a child. So she'd been pregnant with another man's baby?

"The third slap is to apologize to my parents. Dad, Mom, Marcus, I'm sorry. The wedding will be postponed. Today, I'm going to the airport to pick up Hernandez."

That day, I became the laughingstock of Seattle's entire elite circle.

The next day, I called a press conference and announced two things:

First, I was publicly auctioning off my marriage to the highest bidder.

Second, I would launch a full-scale commercial assault on the Oliver Group until it went bankrupt.
