My Wife Is an Offline Sleep Therapist, Helping Insomniacs Fall Asleep
Chapter 1
I never imagined my wife Olivia's job as a sleep therapist would lead to such a shocking discovery. She helps insomniacs fall asleep through voice or video chat services.
At first, I didn't understand and thought the job was ridiculous. After all, I'm well-off enough that she doesn't need to work.
I tried to talk her out of it, but she got furious. She accused me of trying to hold back her career and insulting her dreams. Her parents are both teachers, and she was known as the ice queen back in college. I trusted her not to do anything inappropriate.
I chalked it up to her pride and stopped questioning it. That is, until I came across a certain video...
One evening, I was lounging on the couch scrolling through my phone as usual. As I was swiping, a video in a local group suddenly caught my eye - "Sexy Married Woman".
The video showed a couple getting intimate, even more explicit than what I normally watch. But their faces weren't visible.
It got me all hot and bothered. Too bad my wife wasn't home. I left a comment saying the woman was such a tease.
The screen was filled with flashes of pale skin as the camera shook violently. It was charged with desire and pheromones. The woman called out "Master" in a husky voice, clearly trying to please.
That voice sounded exactly like my wife's when she's doing her sleep therapy sessions! It was uncanny how similar they were.
My heart dropped. It felt like a knife was hanging over my head.
I quickly brought the phone closer and listened over and over again.
No way, it couldn't be!
My wife was supposed to be on a trip right now. I even paid for it myself.
There are plenty of women with similar voices and bodies. Plus, videos online are often fake.
My wife was never this wild in bed.
But that voice kept pounding in my ears, stabbing at my nerves.
I desperately tried to reassure myself. But another voice kept whispering: "What if?"
I spent the next hour frantically examining the video.
I slowed it down to a crawl, analyzing it frame by frame.
My heart was racing as I stared at the screen. The image was still shaky, never revealing the woman's face. Some details of her body were blurry too. But suddenly, a detail caught my eye like a sword piercing my heart.
The woman's hand lifted slightly. As she made a flirtatious gesture, I saw a flash of silver on her wrist.
It was a silver bracelet, simple yet unique in design, with a soft, mellow glow.
It was the custom gift I had made for our 5th wedding anniversary.
It was her. Olivia.
My wife of 5 years was cheating on me.
