Falling for My Sister's Killer...
Chapter 5
I quickly explained in panic, "Madam, I didn't, I didn't try to seduce the sir!"
Olivia snorted coldly and pulled out a long hair. "This hair was found on my husband's trousers. Don't try to deny it."
I became more flustered. "Madam, that hair isn't mine. You've misunderstood."
Olivia glared at my face viciously, then came to my waist and pinched the soft flesh hard. "You little slut, you think you're a match for me?"
My face turned pale with pain. Just then, from the corner of my eye, I saw Alexander approaching.
My eyelashes trembled, and large tears began to fall. I pleaded pitifully, "Madam, it really wasn't me. Please, forgive me."
Olivia pinched my waist hard twice more. "You like seducing men, don't you? Come on, strip her clothes off and throw her out on the street!"
The maids started pulling at my clothes. I cried helplessly, "No, please don't."
At that moment, Alexander strode over. "Stop!"
The maids immediately stopped. My legs gave way, and I collapsed onto the carpet.
My small face was covered in tears. I hugged my exposed shoulders and looked up at Alexander with a tear-stained face.
Without looking in a mirror, I knew how pitiful and alluring I looked to men in this state.
Alexander looked at Olivia and spoke up for me. "She didn't try to seduce me."
Olivia held up the long hair. "Honey, this was found on your trousers. How can you still defend this little slut?"
Alexander took the hair and held it up to the sunlight. The hair had a reddish tint, while my hair was black.
Alexander angrily said, "Look for yourself. This hair isn't Lily's!"
Olivia was dumbfounded.
Just then, a maid in her fifties ran out in panic. "Madam, that hair is mine. It must have fallen on the sir's clothes when I was tidying them. At my age, I would never try to seduce the sir!"
It turned out to be a misunderstanding. Olivia stood there, frozen.
Alexander looked at Olivia. "Olivia, apologize to Lily!"
Olivia's face turned ugly. She stamped her foot in anger. "Honey, how can you ask me to apologize to a lowly maid?"
I couldn't help but curve my lips. Actually, I had planted that hair there!
Olivia, are you surprised? Shocked?
I knew exactly how to provoke Olivia. I decided to teach her another lesson.
I reached out my small hand, like a pitiful little cat, and timidly grabbed Alexander's trousers. Playing the role of a master manipulator, I sobbed, "Sir, please don't argue with the madam because of me. It's all my fault."
Women have an innate ability to detect manipulation, and recognizing my act, Olivia exploded in anger. "Lily, shut up!"
Alexander's tone became cold and hard. "Olivia, don't make me say it a third time. Apologize!"
Olivia was fuming but had to swallow her pride. She lowered her noble head. "Lily, I'm sorry."
I shook my head pitifully. "No, madam. You're not wrong. It's all my fault."
Olivia: "..."
Her gaze could kill now.
...
I returned to my room and sat on the bed. Then, with a "click," the door opened and someone came in.
I knew he would follow me in. It was Alexander!
I looked at him with my watery doe eyes and shrank back a little. "Sir, please don't come near me. If the madam finds out, she'll beat me again~"
Alexander reassured me, "She won't beat you anymore."
I looked doubtful. "Really?"
Alexander: "I promise."
I immediately gave him a sweet smile. "You're so kind, sir~"
Alexander put a tube of ointment on the bedside table. "Apply some of this yourself."
He turned to leave.
I called out to stop him. "Sir."
Alexander turned to look at me.
I said, "Sir, I can't reach. Could you help me apply the ointment?"
In front of him, I reached down and lifted the hem of my clothes, revealing my soft, pale waist.
