Exposing the Double Life on TikTok Live
Chapter 3
He rejected my call!
And right on cue, the muffled buzzing in the livestream magically cut off at the exact same moment.
Every ounce of strength drained from my body.
Chloe picked up on the pause immediately, asking in a soft, concerned voice, "What's wrong, babe? Did something buzz?"
The man’s voice came back, tinged with sheer annoyance.
"Nothing. Just a spam call."
*A spam call.*
Those three words drove straight into my chest like rusty daggers.
Three years together, and here I was, reduced to a pathetic "spam call" from his lips.
The live comments instantly latched onto the drama:
[LMAOOOO did the official girlfriend just try to check on him and get instantly rejected?!]
[Bro called her a spam call, I am DEAD! The ultimate disrespect!]
Chloe hid her mouth behind her hand, giggling with pure malice.
"Aww, don't tell me that was your girlfriend? Hanging up on her like that is going to make her super mad~"
The man sounded completely dismissive. "Forget about her. She’s crazy and overthinks literally everything."
"Talking to you is the only thing that actually helps me relax."
His tone grew increasingly sultry, laced with blatant flirtation.
"That little melody you hummed for me last night? It’s been playing on repeat in my head all day."
A pretty blush crept up Chloe's filtered cheeks, her eyes practically dripping honey. "Really? Then how about I sing it just for you tonight?"
"Sounds perfect, good girl."
*Good girl.*
He actually called her a "good girl"!
Liam despised clingy, cheesy pet names. Even with me, he only ever called me Audrey.
And now, he was calling a trashy audio streamer his "good girl"!
The livestream exploded. Viewers surged in, shoving her straight to the number one trending spot on the platform.
A horde of trolls began spamming my main Ins account.
[@Audrey go listen to your man calling another girl his good girl!]
[@Audrey stop crying under your blankets and send the host a gift for teaching you a lesson!]
[@Audrey your man labeled you a spam caller, aren’t you embarrassed, you clown?]
Staring at the endless stream of venomous mockery, an eerie calm settled over me.
I didn't break down, sob, or start typing frantic defenses in her chat like they expected.
Instead, I quietly turned on screen recording and captured every single second of their two-hour call.
The voice, the cadence, the timeline.
Every piece of evidence pointed directly at Liam.
Yet, my gut told me something was dreadfully off.
As the stream wrapped up, Chloe flashed a cocky finger heart at the camera.
"Girl, don't say I didn't warn you. If you can't keep a leash on your man, don't get mad when another girl sweeps in to help."
The live stream ended, and the dark screen mirrored my chillingly blank face.
I didn't sleep a wink that night.
My primary account was drowned in thousands of vile DMs and hate comments, the unread badge stuck at 99+.
Some told me I deserved it, some urged me to dump him, and others sent disgusting, graphic memes.
I didn't delete a single one. I treated them like air.
I just sat there in the pitch-black living room, listening to the wind howling against the window, replaying that declined call over and over.
Why did Liam hang up on me?
If it really was him, why hadn't he sent a single Snap to explain?
And if it wasn't him, how on earth could someone mimic his exact voice and match his real-time schedule so seamlessly?
