Chapter 4
No money, no ID, no phone.
The immediate priority wasn't how to get back, but how to survive.
I was afraid I'd starve to death in this book before I could succeed.
Was I really going to have to beg?
Begging was not an option. I looked at a public health information board about safe sex practices and free condoms, and a brilliant idea struck me.
I grabbed two plastic bags from a trash can.
I cut eyeholes in a black one and pulled it over my head, keeping a clear one in my hand.
Then I promptly cleared out all the free condoms from the display.
And so, from that day on, I became the girl who sells protection.
For some reason, I always seemed to appear at the precise moment Lily was being forced into intimacy with a man.
And wasn't that a golden business opportunity?
I could make money, and indirectly save the world.
I couldn't change that trash fire of a female lead, so I decided to target the men instead.
As long as I could survive until the happy ending, and Lily didn't get pregnant, there would be no abortions, and I could finally escape this book.
