Chapter 2

The wedding guests were all dumbfounded.

"We've heard the Blue Gang has serious infighting, but isn't the heir Robert's only son? There's no dispute about that, right?"

"Yeah, everyone knows Robert's only son is named Charles. The wedding invitation said Jack Charles too. Who does this Jack think he is?"

"Daring to cause trouble and hurt Young Master Charles at the wedding, this Jack is dead for sure."

My fiancée and the other two women looked uncertain, but hearing the guests' comments, they finally relaxed.

"Jack, what's wrong with you today? Get down from there now!"

"I am Charles's wife Chloe. I can testify that Charles is the groom and the heir to the Blue Gang!"

"I'm Emma, Charles's sister. I watched Charles grow up, how could I be mistaken!"

"I'm Bella, Charles's personal bodyguard. Charles is the true heir of the Blue Gang. As for Jack, I don't know him!"

The three women stood in a row, fiercely protecting Charles and glaring at me.

The guests burst into laughter.

"This poor boy must have gone mad. The Jiang family may have many beauties, but they're not for him to covet."

"The heir's identity has been kept secret all these years, but we all know Emma is the eldest Jiang daughter, Chloe is the daughter-in-law, and Bella is the heir's bodyguard. They can't be wrong."

"That's right. Jack, why don't you kneel and apologize?!"

I held my head high, looking past the women in front of me to the woman hurrying over.

"Aunt Yvonne, you've been with my dad for so many years. Surely you know who his son is?"

Everyone followed my gaze, whispering amongst themselves.

"Isn't that Robert's mistress Yvonne? Why is she here?"

"With such a big commotion at the wedding, and Robert on his deathbed, of course someone had to be sent to take charge."

Yvonne said nothing, rushing over in her high heels. She helped Charles up first before turning to me.

"You little bastard, who gave a servant like you the guts to fight with Charles!"

"Someone tie Jack up. I'll take him back for the old master to deal with personally!"

My heart skipped a beat in shock.

In my past life, I only knew my fiancée and the other two women had been bewitched by Charles. I never realized even my dad's mistress Yvonne had become Charles's ally!

With Yvonne's order, people immediately came forward to grab me.

I stood my ground, using only the Jiang family's secret martial arts to defeat everyone who came at me.

Seeing their injured comrades on the ground, some people finally sensed something was amiss.

"Jack is using the Jiang family's secret fighting techniques. Throughout history, only the direct heirs were allowed to learn it."

"If he's really just an insignificant servant, how could he possibly know how to use it!"

I coldly looked at the group of women, waiting for their lies to be exposed.

But just then, the badly injured Charles struggled to his feet with their support and performed a full set of Jiang family martial arts!

Taking advantage of the stunned silence from the audience, Charles wiped the blood from his mouth and spoke loudly.

"Jack, I pitied your background in the past and let you fetch water while I practiced. But you've gone too far, daring to steal my techniques!"

I glared hatefully at my sister Emma.

Apart from my father Robert, only she and I knew these martial arts.

How dare she personally teach our family's secret techniques to an outsider! She had no respect for rules at all!

I was so furious my qi surged, and I grabbed Emma by the collar.

"How dare you!"

Emma wasn't flustered at all, looking towards Charles instead.

Charles seized the opportunity to pull something from his pocket, holding it high.

"Father already passed the Blue Gang's heirloom to me. Jack, your farce ends now."
