No Turning Back: Broken Bonds Forever

Werewolves are creatures that crave physical intimacy, especially with their mates, yet Dante hardly ever touches me. One of his excuses is that he isn't ready for pups yet. I guess that rule only applies to me.

Now, just after discovering my unexpected pregnancy, my heart is shattered as I realize my mate has gotten Gabriella, his ex, pregnant. “I never knew that sleeping around with the women in the pack was one of your honorable duties as well, Alpha,” I snap through our mind link, sarcasm lacing my tone. I know it’s not how a fated mate should speak, but Dante has crossed a line.

The pain surges within me, a boiling anger I can’t contain. I’m done being the woman who stands by while he plays house with someone else. In a moment of desperation, I reach out to the pack healer to prepare the abortion ritual. It's time to reclaim my life and end things with him for good.
