Checkmate: Jace & Lexi's Story

Jace's father married Lexi's mother in secret when he was in Vegas for a business trip. Their flight went down that left no survivors. Jace's father changed his will before leaving Vegas that made Lexi and her little sister to gain stake into her stepfather's business that left a sour taste in his mouth.

There is a catch to the will. Jace and Leo (Jace's little brother) has to live in Manie with Lexi and Lily (Lexi's little sister) for six months for the will to get what was in the will. Jace doesn't realize that Lexi is only agreeing to the agreement and had nothing to do with money or stake into the business.

Jace's lawyer let Jace know that Lexi loves to play chess but not as a board game. Jace took the game to a level that gave foreplay to new level. Checkmate.
