abscond

My boyfriend, Asher, got married, but I wasn't the bride.

I never imagined such a dramatic turn of events would ever happen to me.

To make matters worse, Asher had only been married for three days.

Despite this, he was ready to rush back to me, as if nothing had changed, and continue our relationship.

I didn't even consider faking my own death; instead, I set Asher's house on fire.

Someone like me is not to be trifled with.

Six months later, I showed up as a bride at his uncle's wedding.

Asher saw me and was utterly shocked, his eyes wide with disbelief.
