This splendid building contains a stately conference/community room,
a grand ballroom, and large verandas overlooking beautiful Lake Julia.
It also houses the adminstrative offices for Buhl Farm Park.
Have a tea, banquet, meeting, or wedding reception – the Casino has so much to offer!

CASINO GRAND BALLROOM

The ballroom is a graceful spacious air-conditioned room surrounded by verandas with spectacular views of Lake Julia and its fountain. The floor to ceiling windows and overhead skylights add to the brightness and attractive decor. At the front of the room there is a large stage, complete with a draw curtain and lighting for all types of theatrical productions or musical entertainment. Also available is a drop-down screen for visual presentations. A spacious new kitchen contains a stove, refrigerator, and special sinks for easy catering preparation, serving, and cleanup. This room is ideal for all types of large events.

Hours: 8am - 8pm
  Before or after these hours, a security ranger will be required for a fee of $18 per hour.
No departure can be past midnight.

Cost: $250 for a minimum of four hours -- $70 for each additional hour -- Maximum of $400
All building rentals will require an additional $100 refundable deposit.

  Be sure to include clean-up time within your rental hours (approximately one hour). Upon your departure, the room must appear the same way it appeared when you arrived. Departure time is defined as when the building is cleared of decorations, food, and people.

If you wish to set up decorations prior to your event, there will be a set-up fee of $25. Set-up may be done just prior to your event or on the preceding day/evening, if the room is available.

Seating: 160 people can be seated at round tables, Maximum Capacity of 200
-- tables and chairs are included in the rental price.
 
A caterer form must be filled out and approved at least four weeks prior to the event.
Parties for children and teenagers will require adequate supervision with a minimum presence
of one adult for every 10 children.

SHENANGO VALLEY CONFERENCE CENTER

The conference center is a state-of-the-art conference room with table modules that can be arranged in a variety of shapes and plush chairs for comfortable seating. Ready for the electronic age, computers have free WiFi access and audio-conferencing equipment. The inviting fireplace at one end of the room gives an elegance and stately manor to its decor. There is also a drop-down screen for visual presenations. It is the perfect spot for the most important business meeting or the most notable social gathering. Adjoining is a brand new kitchen which contains a stove, microwave, refrigerator, and sink for easy catering preparation, serving, and cleanup.

Cost: $120 for a minimum of four hours -- $25 for each additional hour -- $200 for all day
If you plan to serve food, there will be an additional $30 kitchen fee.
All building rentals will require an additional $100 refundable deposit.

General Rules for Casino Rental

Violation of any regulations, including the maximum number of guests, will result in immediate revocation of the reservation, forfeiture of the deposit, and eviction of all guests.

1. The basic park rules apply: no alcoholic beverages, no pyrotechnics or smoke-generating machines, and no gambling.
2. No nails, duct tape, or tacks may be used. Only masking or scotch tape may be used for decorations.
3. No confetti, rice or similar items may be used. Bubbles are permitted outdoors only.
4. The thermostats in the Casino are pre-set and cannot be changed by the Park Rangers.
5. Tobacco products are not permitted in the Casino or on the balconies.
6. Tables and chairs may be moved as needed, but must be replaced as they were found.
7. The front circular driveway may be used for loading and unloading, but no parking is permitted there during the function.
8. No exit doors or pathways are to be blocked at any time during your function.
9. If any beverages or liquids are spilled, please mop the area promptly.
10. All litter and garbage must be placed in proper receptacles or your deposit will not be returned.
11. Any Buhl Farm Trustee, Park Management, Park Ranger, Police Officer, or Fire Marshall may enter the area at any time during occupancy to ensure compliance to park rules.
12. The Renter agrees to accept responsibility for the conduct of persons attending, and for damages caused by their use, including the replacement value of any lost, stolen, damaged, or missing equipment or property.
13. PLEASE DO NOT FEED THE WILDLIFE!
