The Buhl Farm Park Tennis Courts open officially for the 2008 summer season on Memorial Day Weekend. As in the past,courts can be
reserved four days in advance from Memorial Day to Labor Day. During late Spring and early Fall, court sign up will be on Saturday and
Sunday only. Court sign up time will continue to be from 8:00 a.m. - 8:30 p.m. Courts may be reserved
for a maximum of two hours at a time for either singles or doubles.
There are eight courts in total, completely free to the public. Tennis players looking for a "hit" can be put on the "Hit List” which is posted on the sign-up board at the courts. Private and group tennis lessons are available from Sue McLaughlin, the Director of Tennis. The Adult and Junior programs are listed below. |

| Adult Beginners Lessons | Learn the basics of the game in eight free group lessons from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Beginning Saturday June 14, 2008 through August 16, 2008 No Class July 19 or July 26 |
| Mixed Doubles | Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday mornings from 8:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
Intermediate and Advanced players welcome. No sign-up necessary. |
| Sharon Open Tennis Tournament | July 8th - 13th Sponsored by the Shenango Valley Tennis Club. Open to JUNIORS AND ADULTS. Applications will be available at the courts in June. |
| Summer Wrap-up Tournament | August 12 - 17 Sponsored by the Shenango Valley Tennis Club. Open to JUNIOR PLAYERS & ADULT ENTHUSIASTS. Additional tournament applications will be available at the courts throughout the summer. Check the Sign-up Board for details. |
