The Buhl Farm Park Tennis Courts open officially for the 2010 summer season on Memorial Day Weekend. As in the past,courts can be
reserved four days in advance from Memorial Day to Labor Day. During late Spring and early Fall, court sign up will be on Saturday and
Sunday only. Court sign up time will continue to be from 8:00 a.m. - 8:30 p.m. Courts may be reserved
for a maximum of two hours at a time for either singles or doubles.
There are eight courts in total, completely free to the public. Tennis players looking for a "hit" can be put on the "Hit List” which is posted on the sign-up board at the courts. Private and group tennis lessons are available from Sue McLaughlin, the Director of Tennis. The Adult and Junior programs are listed below. Take a look! | Adult Beginners Lessons | Learn the basics of the game in eight free group lessons from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Beginning Saturday June 19, 2010 through August 21, 2010 No Class July 3rd or July 10th |
| Mixed Doubles | Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday mornings from 8:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
Intermediate and Advanced players welcome. No sign-up necessary. |
| Sharon Open Tennis Tournament | Early August. Organized by the Shenango Valley Tennis Club.
Open to JUNIORS AND ADULTS. Applications will be available at the courts in July. |
